ANNABEL LEE By: EDGAR ALLAN POE

It was many and many a year ago,

In a kingdom by the sea,That a maiden there lived whom you may know

By the name of Annabel Lee;

And this maiden she lived with no other thought

Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea;

But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;

With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven

Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,

In this kingdom by the sea,

A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling

My beautiful Annabel Lee;

So that her highborn kinsman came

And bore her away from me,

To shut her up in a sepulchre

In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,

Went envying her and me-Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,

In this kingdom by the sea)

That the wind came out of the cloud by night,

Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love

Of those who were older than we-

Of many far wiser than we-

And neither the angels in heaven above,

Nor the demons down under the sea,

Can ever dissever my soul from the soul

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And so, all the night-tide,

I lie down by the sideOf my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,

In the sepulchre there by the sea,

In her tomb by the sounding sea.

My Soul: Music

Kanon I've always listened to music when I was little, in the car of my parents. But ever since I first really listened to it five years ago, Music has been ingrained deeply in my soul. It has also played a huge part in keeping me sane through all the turbulent years of my life. I love listening to the vocals, and the beat of it! I often will listen to a song simply for the beat of it! Likewise, I won’t listen to a song if the beat isn’t to my liking, regardless of the lyrics.
Music can create a second world. Much like a book. It can weave together stories, and sing about the most inspiring things! This world would be a very bleak place without it. Sadly though, most popular Music today has lost it's meaning and inspiration. So, from time to time I will make a post about some of my favorite artists or songs.

Books and a Luau

Sunglasses Friday was an extremely busy day for me! At one, I went up to Maple Grove to visit Manda, and Angela and get my camera back. We met up at Borders. After we went to Hot Topic, as Lady Angela had never been there before. We had a lot of fun goofing around there! We then visited Claires, and I saw a lot of things that I want to buy! Unforunately I couldn't, since I didn't have any money! Angela had to go after that, so we started heading back. On the way we stopped by a pool of water, and she gave me a penny so I could make a wish! Her mom then came and picked her up, but thankfully Manda could stay! We walked around talking, and went back to Hot Topic and Claires. We left around four, as we were getting hungry. At six, I went up to my friends Church for an End of School Luau! It was a lot of fun! We played games, and I actually got hit with a waterballoon. We played Limbo, and I did fairly well. I made some new friends and I had a lot of fun! I'm glad she invited me!

Summer at Last!

Today is my last day of school! And my final day of being a Junior. I'm glad it finally came! Now my friend, Manda, can stop making fun of me! Since she got out on may 19th. I'm quite excited! I have a few things planned for the rest of this week. On Friday I shall be travelling up to Borders in Maple Grove to visit a friend and get my camera back! It'll be nice to be able to take pictures for the blog. Later on Friday I'm going with a friend to her Church for an 'End of School Luau'. Hopefully that'll be fun. And on Saturday, I may be going to the beach with another friend, depending on the weather. I hope it's nice!! Later this month, there is Carnival and Parade in a nearby town. I've been waiting for it all year! I'm looking forward to a great summer! Now if only the wind would stop blowing...

Rose-Colored Glass

I've been feeling alot better with my new anti-depressants, so I figured I would start a blog for the fun of it. I also really got inspired by Princess Skye's blog http://princessportal.com/. So go check it out! It's amazing! Anyways, I've been really happy as of late! I've lost the urge to cut, and I'm becoming less suicidal! And I've definitely started to see the world threw a Rose-Colored Glass. (corny, I know, but that's ok) So, I hope this goes well!
